This work is the result of the destruction of preexisting origami. Rooted in childhood memories, the origami is unfolded and transformed into an architectural model. However, the traditional design of origami is preserved : a single folded square sheet of paper without use of glue or scissors.

Demolish-Reconstruct VI
The architectural elements of the Bertrand Grimont Gallery model are assembled into a sculpture. The model is first created to then be deconstructed. The miniature architectural elements are then put together to reconstruct a new object.
Demolish-Reconstruct III
This project was carried out after a discussion with Manabu Chiba, the gallery architect. The elements of the MA2 Gallery model at a one thirtieth scale are assembled into a tower.

A one thirtieth model of an MA2 gallery building is distorted in such a way that it looks like it’s holding or being held by the gallery floor and wall.

The architectural elements of a Jacou middle school at the scale of one thirtieth (1/30) are assembled into a sculpture. The « demolish – reconstruct » series is the result of a recurring dialogue with the architect of the exhibition space. The model is first created to then be deconstructed.
